Procurement Specialist - Gourock - Permanent - £££ Competitive

ARM is delighted to be supporting a leading Maritime business with the recruitment of a Procurement Business Partner on a permanent basis.

The Procurement Business Partner will be responsible for Procurement and Supply Chain activities in support of the management and control of designated areas of expenditure.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the negotiation and management of a range of commodities to secure the best terms for the business
* Assist in the administration of the commercial aspects of Contracts
* Ensure all materials procured meet the Company's requirements of suitability for purpose,
* quality, safety, and price
* Deliver and support strategies to achieve targeted savings
* Responsible for providing cover when required for purchasing system administration (CPS)

Requirements:

* HND or equivalent qualification together with relevant experience is required
* Minimum 3 years' experience within Procurement and Supply Chain
* CIPS Qualification would be desirable
* Working knowledge of Supply Chain and Contract management is desirable
* Relevant experience of tendering procedures is desirable
* Experience of Public Sector Procurement legislation
