About you
* The successful candidate will have a master's degree (Materials science and/or metallurgy is advantageous)
* Knowledge of field continuous metal strip production.
* Understand mechanics and automation concepts of continuous materials processing equipment.
* Relevant experience in a similar role.
* Willingness to travel (Within Europe).
The Role
* Analysing, designing, optimising, and developing applied technologies/equipment and processes used with the aim of increasing efficiency and quality improvement.
* Initiation, support, and control of improvement programs and cost-reduction projects in cooperation with the production sites.
* Supporting the production sites in the development and expansion of investment.
* Planning and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams.
