Electronics Engineer

Up to £55000 per annum + BenefitsContract
The main objective for this role is to support the Hardware team in defining, designing, testing, validating
and certifying products.
- Travel for work-related purposes inside the UK and internationally may be part of this employment.
- A suitable degree in electronics or a field closely related to electronics is preferable for the candidate (essential). The applicant must have prior experience delivering goods in the industrial/consumer electronic industry.
Essential Criteria:
- Understanding of analogue electronic design (experience in linear or switched-mode power supplies, experience in component selection, experience of PCB technology, knowledge of RF design)
- Proven track record of working with suppliers and prototyping firms.
- Professional certification experience for electronic/RF devices in the European market (RED, LV, RoHS)
Desireable Experience:
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process for electronics (DFM, testing, automation)
- Knowledge of quality procedures
- Experience in reliability design/tools (HALT, ALT, DFMEA
