Channel Account Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

PermanentOur client who are a growing IT Services Company are seeking a Channel Account Manager to join their team to help achieve revenue targets generated from allocated Accounts and New Business.
Our client have multiple offices in the UK and this is a remote position.
Salary is £35k basic + commission (OTE is £42,700 and this is uncapped).
Responsibilities
- Manage/expand relationships within account base to increase enquiry opportunity.
- Identify and promote rental use cases/propositions to drive revenue into appropriate customer segment.
- Develop understanding and communicate commercial/operational detail in order to be able to present, lead and close out customer discussions.
- Manage and maintain system tools (e.g. Salesforce) to enable reporting/progress
Desirable skills/experience
- Demonstrable Understanding of IT Channel Route to Markets desired
- Understanding "Service" type sales and positioning
- Good general understanding/knowledge of compute and AV solutions
- Effective, confident communicator at all levels
- Be results orientated with a real focus on achieving targets
- Ability to keep up to date with new products
- Ability to manage changing priorities
- Drive and tenacity
- Negotiation skills
- Good use of initiative
