Channel Account Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

Our client who are a growing IT Services Company are seeking a Channel Account Manager to join their team to help achieve revenue targets generated from allocated Accounts and New Business.

Our client have multiple offices in the UK and this is a remote position.

Salary is £35k basic + commission (OTE is £42,700 and this is uncapped).

Responsibilities

• Manage/expand relationships within account base to increase enquiry opportunity.
• Identify and promote rental use cases/propositions to drive revenue into appropriate customer segment.
• Develop understanding and communicate commercial/operational detail in order to be able to present, lead and close out customer discussions.
• Manage and maintain system tools (e.g. Salesforce) to enable reporting/progress

Desirable skills/experience

• Demonstrable Understanding of IT Channel Route to Markets desired
• Understanding "Service" type sales and positioning
• Good general understanding/knowledge of compute and AV solutions
• Effective, confident communicator at all levels
• Be results orientated with a real focus on achieving targets
• Ability to keep up to date with new products
