Interim Contracts Officer - Romsey (Hybrid) - 8 Month Contract

ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a world-class technology and engineering consultancy who are looking for a Contracts Officer to join them on an initial 8 month contract.

Your purpose:
The Contracts Officer will provide commercial support from early business development, contract negotiation and on through the life of the contract.

Day-today duties:

* Support Commercial Managers in the preparation of quotations, export licence applications, processing of orders and preparation of confidentiality agreements.
* Liaising with Customers to convert quotations/bids into orders.
* Support the establishment of relationships with Business Sales Partners.
* Assume responsibility for day-to-day commercial aspects of ongoing programmes, including the co-ordination of bidding activities, tender preparation, and customer liaison.
* Review contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders up to certain limits and within guidelines.
* Liaise with other departments as appropriate.
* Manage registration onto Frameworks and Customer Vendor approval requirements.
* Provide support to other areas of the business and members of the Commercial Team as required.

What we are looking for:

* Good working knowledge and experience in similar Commercial environment
* High level of computer literacy is essential, preferably including SAP.
* Knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and conditions
* Ability to review and negotiate a variety of contract types, including large UK Government framework contracts.
* Experience of international business and understanding of export control rules and processes would be beneficial.
* An awareness of the key principles of contract terms and conditions would be beneficial.
* Comfortable working with simple financial models to support bid pricing.
