Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Birmingham, West Midlands

SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER - WEST MIDLANDS - PERMANENT - £40,000 TO £50,000

ARM are currently working with a global public transport infrastructure company who specialise is the rail and mass transit sector, they are currently seeking for a professional Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Birmingham.

About You:
* You would need to have graduated with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or engineering geology
* You will also need an understanding of UK geology and basic knowledge of UK construction practice.
* Significant experience of geotechnical analysis design of earthworks and structures for example shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls and slopes.

What you will be doing:
In this role you will be completing geotechnical tasks that could be on a range of different projects. That could be commercial, public sectors or residential groundworks.
Such as:
* Plan, specify and manage site investigations and laboratory testing programmes.
* Undertake geotechnical design and prepare detailed geotechnical reports.
* Assist the team leadership in the development of Client relationships and contribute to the training and development of other team members.

This permanent role is based in Birmingham, this role is office / site based. However, there are other office locations that can be considered. You will need a full clean Driver's License to visit client sites.

Salary for this role is 40,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience and suitability, other benefits for this role include: holiday, company matched pension.
