PermanentOur client is currently seeking for an IT Portfolio Manager to join their expanding team, the position is fully remote but requires at least one day a month in either the London, Portsmouth or Wokingham.
The Team:
The IT Portfolio Manager will join our clients Internal IT Team which sits within the CTO Office and provides IT support to all internal employees across the Bell Group. Our client provides fit for purpose, stable and scalable IT infrastructure, business applications and end user tools enabling collaboration and knowledge sharing across the company.
Our client has recently undertaken an IT Transformation to refresh our clients data centre and site infrastructure and are now looking to mature our use of business applications to enable our clients business to grow at pace and move into territories worldwide.
About the role:
The IT Portfolio Manager will play a critical role in setting up and running a new IT demand function for all internal IT change across the company. This is a new role to develop effective processes, governance and control required to maintain the portfolio of work, overseeing Project Managers and hands on delivery.
Required:
1. Solid experience in Portfolio Management ideally with relevant qualifications (MoP, P3O or equivalent)
2. Ability to multitask, handle complex problems and conflicting messages to gain consensus
3. Competent in using M365 applications, including MS Project
