The Team:
The Developer will join our Internal IT Team which sits within the CTO Office and provides IT support to all internal employees across the group. They provide fit for purpose, stable and scalable IT infrastructure, business applications and end user tools enabling collaboration and knowledge sharing across the business.
They have recently undertaken an IT Transformation to refresh our data centre and site infrastructure and are now looking to mature our use of business applications to enable our business to grow at pace and move into territories worldwide.
The Role:
The Developer will play a critical role in enabling us to upgrade and mature internally written Asset Management and Rentals system which is a business-critical system used to run Rentals. This role will form part of the project team then take the system into Business-as-Usual state supporting both development and operational support.
The successful candidate will have:
* Solid development experience with ASP, SQL, .Net and ASP classic within a DevOps environment
* Demonstrated ability to administer and manage SQL Server, including writing complex SQL Queries
* Knowledge of development of web pages using Adobe ColdFusion
Please note that there is a requirement for you to travel into the Wokingham office at least once a month.
