My client in the utilities industry underpins the technology needs of all the different businesses that make up the business group as whole. They are looking for a Devops Engineer to join their fast paced team on an initial 6 month contract.

For this role you will be meeting the need for the growing Renewables and Thermal Energy businesses. From emerging technologies to data & analytics to cyber security we power the company's growth and enable it to generate value, while keeping it secure.

Day-to-day details-
- Building integrations e.g. APIs, connectors.
- Application support.
- Application development, installation & configuration.
- Deployment & configuration for Commercial Off-the Shelf applications
- Cloud resource deployment.
- Implementing DevOps automation e.g. pipelines.

Experience needed-
- Sector experience (Utilities) or similar Asset based organisation is preferable
- A development background (e.g. Visual studio, .NET, C#, React JS, PowerShell, C++, GIT) and comfortable with building Release pipelines (CI/CD processes).
- Comfortable installing and configuring applications from 3 party vendors and integrating AD.
- Experience of application support activities.
- Experience with consuming cloud services.
