IT Security Officer in Birmingham, West Midlands

IT SECURITY OFFICER - REMOTE - 5 MONTH CONTRACT - £650 PER DAY

We are currently looking for an IT Security Officer for a leading railway company who are at the forefront of the UK's future in rail, for a five month contract.

About You:
* You will be a subject matter expert in IT Security
* You will have experience in Microsoft Defender or other relevant end point tools.
* You will be experienced in security configuration and implementation.

What you will be doing:
You will be leading the information assurance and risk management, to ensure that IT systems are designed and operated in a way to keep information safe and secure.

The office for this position is Birmingham, however, the role is mainly remote. This will be working 5 days a week during normal office hours.

The rate for this position is £600 and £650 per day (Umbrella - inside IR35). We can offer PAYE working on this position and rates can be discussed at application.

For our client, we are required to undertake a DBS and reference checks prior to starting. We also can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position.
