Business Analyst in Edinburgh

ARM are recruiting for a Business Analyst for a Fully Remote Long term contract opportunity with a Key Defence Client.

This is a great opportunity to work on projects for a market leading defence client.

IR35 Determination: Inside

As a Business Analyst you will be working on a key defence project and be responsible for;
* Understand the customers' long-term ambitions and needs for exploiting data for military advantage (primarily UK MoD).
* Digest the myriad government published documents to identify key strands in both the short-term and strategic aspirations for IA.
* Work with other Leonardo Lines of Businesses and Functions to identify coherent approaches to developing viable IA products.
* Identify and engage with the academia and other Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to gain an understanding of current and aspiration technologies for ML/AI, Digital Twins, diagnostics, prognostics and Multi-Domain Integration / C2.
* Produce a white paper that will cover the feasibility, desirability and viability of developing IA products as a service - primarily in the military support environment.

You should have the following experience:
* Prior experience of the defence sector and the military operational support environment.
* Experience of data analytics and the use of information to create customer value
* Willingness to initiate and engage with external agencies.
* Ability to produce articulate and compelling written reports.
* Motivated, curious, self-starting, imaginative, adaptable, enthusiastic, pragmatic, articulate, communicative, collaborative.

Due to the nature of the sector, you will need to hold current and active UK Security Clearance or at least be eligible to gain it.
