Safety and Reliability Engineer in Derby, Derbyshire

Advanced Resource Managers are currently working with a leading client within the Nuclear industry who seek a Safety and Reliability Engineer to join their team.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be supporting the safety & reliability teams with the development for the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet. You could work in a variety of roles such as:
- Safety Case Authors
- Safety Analysts
- Human Factors Engineers
- Probabilistic Safety Analysts
Who we are seeking:
- Degree in Engineering, Maths, Physics or equivalent.
- A demonstrable ability to work in multidisciplinary teams to tight deadlines.
- The ability to provide clear, concise and accurate technical reports.
- Experience or knowledge of hazard identification techniques such as FMEAs, HAZOPs, Fault & Event Tree Analysis, and reliability evaluation methods would be an advantage.
- Experience or knowledge of hazard assessment processes would be an advantage, including design basis assessment techniques (e.g. production of fault schedules, the derivation of safety functional requirements) and As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) assessments.
