Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative? Do you have experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing, logistics or FMCG environment? If so, this could be the role for you!

We are partnered with a leading global manufacturing business who are looking to hire a Warehouse Operative to support their warehouse and logistics operation.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient movement of materials, components and finished goods throughout the facility. You'll play a key role in supporting production operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and inventory accuracy.

This role is offered initially for 6 months with the potential for extension review. This role will be working night shifts over the hours of 22:00-06:00, a rewarding night shift premium is paid for this.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, check and process incoming goods and delivery documentation.
  • Pick, issue and return raw materials, components, labels and finished goods for production and customers.
  • Load, unload, wrap and prepare pallets for internal and external distribution.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet trucks and RF scanning equipment.
  • Carry out regular cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Update warehouse systems and documentation accurately.
  • Support waste, recycling and scrap management processes.
  • Deliver materials to production areas and transfer finished goods to storage locations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GMP and warehouse procedures at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift licence is advantageous; training can be provided.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic numerical and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work accurately under pressure.
  • Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of GMP or regulated manufacturing environments is desirable.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to work across multiple warehouse functions.
