ARM are delighted to be working with our client to help them recruit a Finance Manager on a 6 month contract.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager for Adults Social Care to work within a new Pilot post to oversee the financial process responsibilities within the service.

The Role:

• Supervision of DP and Finance Officers and their work
• Understand, oversee and support the ASC incoming workflow responsibilities and email inbox.
• Attend and contribute to key meetings (Debt, Panel, Team, DP and management).
• Ensure compliance with Deputy standards and sign off OPG returns
• Understand the Financial Assessment Process for ASC, taking responsibility for improving admin process gaps and addressing issues appropriately, working closely with ASC staff, Senior Finance Officer and our clients.
• Review the scope of ASC Finance functions and dependencies, and therein, map the current ASC job roles and responsibilities, including process.
• Work with key stakeholders to identify, agree and outline requirements to realise change and improvement for ASC Finance.

Requirements:

• Finance Qualification (desired, competency across Finance functions)
• Prince 2/Agile Project Management (desired, previous experience of delivering small scale projects)
• Previous experience and sound knowledge of ASC: Direct Payments, Appointeeship, Deputyship, Client Financial Management, Financial Assessments, Care Purchasing.
• A proven track record of successfully undertaking process and business improvement related exercises, or similar, preferably within Adult Social Care.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and able to collate and present data for a range of audiences and stakeholders.
• High level of competency with MS Office Suite, with a sound skillset in Excel.
• Previous experience in Mosaic and Oracle based finance systems (CBIS)
