Electrician in Stratford, London

Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to carry out electrical maintenance, small project works, and provide support to the wider maintenance team. The ideal candidate will hold a current JIB Gold Card, have sound knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and be competent in inspection and testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair works across the site.

• Undertake small installation and project works, ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations.

• Inspect, test, and certify electrical systems and equipment in line with statutory requirements.

• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently to minimise downtime.

• Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance and facilities team on multi-disciplinary tasks.

• Ensure all work is carried out safely, professionally, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

• Maintain accurate records of works completed, materials used, and any issues identified.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Current JIB Gold Card (Essential)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) (Essential)

• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) or equivalent (Essential)

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and small project work.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
