Data Analyst (R Programming) in England

Primary purpose for the role:
- Closely support management in all data related matters pertaining to patient recruitment and analysis.
- Develop and advance data extraction, cleansing, and analysis tools and techniques in support of all relevant data assets.
- Create and execute data queries, aggregation, analyses and transfers executed in such a way as to bring maximum efficiency, and yield optimal performance, to the delivery of our core products and services and to frame revenue-impacting decisions.
- Work as an integral part of the Data Services team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of project-critical data components and the ongoing advancement of data storage/extraction tools and processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced to power-user/certified skill level with MS Access and MS Excel
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in relational databases such as Oracle; along with advanced use of SQL Navigator, Toad or similar SQL editing software
- Advanced understanding of data hygiene and data integrity concepts; ability to manage and monitor its application to all Acurian outreach data
- ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) knowledge or willingness to be trained
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, critical thinking skills, and close attention to detail
- Ability to draft and update Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to work individually, or as part of a team, with minimal direction
- Ability to support and advise multiple internal clients in a professional manner and prioritize their needs appropriately
- Ability to manage a number of assignments to completion simultaneously, often within tight, frequently changing, timelines
- Flexibility, creative problem solving, organized, good follow-through, integrity, able to engender trust and confidence in finished product
