Finance Assistant in Colchester, Essex

Finance Assistant - Colchester - Initial 3 Month Contract (Potential to go permanent) - £13 p/h (PAYE)

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a high-quality care company who are actively seeking a Finance Assistant to join them on a contract basis with a view of this being made permanent further down the line.

The role requires someone able to assist with the day-to-day running of the finance office.

Responsibilities:

* To assist with the day-to-day running of the Finance Office
* Filing and updating of records where appropriate
* Assist with monthly payroll
* Assist the Finance Manager with keeping records of all cash e.g. petty cash books up to date
* Assist the Finance Manager in ensuring all payments due are received and all related duties are performed

Requirements:

* Ideally have worked in a similar role previously
* Minimum need to be working towards AAT however ideally already obtained
* Experience in Sage 50
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
