Purpose of the Job
As a Product Designer you will be a part of our industry leading technology department working in our Product and Design team. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end experiences for our customers utilising your UX, UI and user research skills. You will work closely with our engineering team and stakeholders across the business to deliver customer experiences that support us on our goal to grow market share.
Key Skills/Competencies Experience, Knowledge
Experience in a Product Design, or equivalent, role.
You have a strong portfolio which demonstrates your experience, design skills, thinking and approach.
You follow a user centred design approach, utilising user research and testing activities, to identify opportunities and create solutions which add value and deliver outcomes for customers.
You have good communication skills and can confidently communicate with colleagues and stakeholders across different business areas.
You have experience working in cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
You have strong visual and UI design skills including experience working with and/or contributing to design systems.
You are proficient is the use of Figma, or similar tools, for design, prototyping and collaboration.
You follow a mobile first design approach. Familiarity with mobile app platforms and design patterns for iOS and Android is a bonus.
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way.
Key Responsibilities
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to design experiences for our customers that align with business goals.
You will undertake discovery work in collaboration with the product team, and stakeholders across the business, to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to improve the experience for our customers.
You will engage in user centred design methodologies, using research, data insightsa and user testing to gain insights and inform decisions to optimise solutions.
You will create highly usable, accessible and visually engaging user interfaces that align with our design system and brand.
You will work with Engineers and Product Managers to facilitate delivery, and ensure quality, of agreed design solutions.
