Project history:
ARM has been supplying contract resources to Centrica/British Gas since 1998, including a range of niche IT professionals across all sectors of the UK business. Our tenacity and continued high performance was recently rewarded when we won one of only four tier-one UK Contract Preferred Supplier List positions.
The ARM CRM Solution:
The ARM team has supported a number of large-scale and essential programmes, including a CRM replacement initiative where we were tasked with supplying a variety of niche contract and permanent resources.
This project required the sourcing of highly sought-after SAP skilled candidates, specifically with CRM experience, along with a range of other resources – most notably Project Managers, Business Analysts and Solution Architects.
We are one of Centrica’s/British Gas’ top suppliers of IS contract resources, with over 150 on-site at any given time. ARM also provides support and guidance on visa and work permit legislation, securing the services of multiple resources from overseas.
In this instance, we developed an innovative solution to speed up the on-boarding of a number of suitable SAP and CRM experienced professionals for the project. This was achieved by managing the vetting part of the interview process, utilising a series of time-saving competency-based questions (pre-supplied by Centrica/British Gas) and running candidate assessment days.
The ARM team is able to continuously source strong candidates, across a variety of disciplines by calling upon over 80 man-years’ worth of relevant recruitment experience.
