Vehicle Technician – Southampton in Southampton, Hampshire

VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC - SOUTHAMPTON - PERMANENT - £35,364 - £55,000

ARM are working with a well-known logistics company and we are currently recruiting for Vehicle Technicians to join their team in Southampton.

About You:
You will be an experienced technician with experience in light and heavy goods vehicles for both repair and maintenance.
You will hold and be able to provide qualifications for IMI level 3 or similar in Light or Heavy vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualification.
You will need to hold a full UK driving license (manual) for this role also.

What you will be doing:
This is a key position to keep Britain's premier logistics provider working, with the repair and maintenance of their range of vehicles.

This position is based in Southampton and will involve early and late shifts working with a defined 2-week program, which will see you working earlier one week (starting at 6 am) and later another week (working to 7 pm). There is also plenty of overtime available.

The salary for this position is between £35,364 and £38,692 (excluding overtime), but most technicians are earning between £50,000 and £55,000 with overtime and other allowances included.
