Job title - UK IS Industrial Project Manager
Location - 30 minutes from Manchester
Duration - 12 months
Pay rate - Up to £32 umbrella

DUE TO THIS ROLE BEING IN THE DEFENCE INDUSTRY, YOU WILL NEED TO HOLD AT LEAST BPSS SECURITY CLEARANCE AND RESIDE IN THE UK TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

Overview of department:
The demand for technology and services to support and deliver the companies growing Manufacturing business is increasing rapidly. IS industrial UK (part of the larger Information Systems team) is an identified growth area and a new UK resource is required to deliver the demand coming from our Factory of the Future and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Within the IS Industrial team we have a responsibility for application solution in the industrial domain as well as the integration for Manufacturing equipment with IT systems and certain hardware (OT/IOT). This has resulted in a multitude of new activities that break new ground including IT security / Cyber security initiatives.
There is a requirement for a Project Manager / business Analyst to join the IS Industrial UK team. This role will require the individual to manage projects but also go that little further and in some cases build the project scope, gain 'buy in' and deliver the finished solution. The successful candidate will undertake Project Management, Business Analysis, and support activities whilst taking the opportunity to develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:
* Work with senior customers and end-users to analyse the needs of all the business units (Technical, Production and Support).
* Manage UK and International industrial IS projects with respect to cost, schedule and quality.
* Provide timely reports to project steering committees and control boards.
* Manage and coordinate the internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and vendors involved in the project.
* Build a project from concept, through business case, to execution.
* Some Co-ordination of BAU activities.

Skillset/experience required:
* Experience in a Project Management role in IT.
* Good communication and motivational skills
* Ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively across various levels in the organisation.
* Experience within an engineering / manufacturing environment would be beneficial
* An awareness of IT technologies & methodologies would also be beneficial
