My client are looking for a Security Cleared Transition Lead to join their fast paced team on an initial 6 month contract.

The ideal candidate MUST HAVE Active Security Clearance

Details around the programme-
The objective is to complete the onboarding and management of demand for 2 x on-premises multi-tenant cloud hosting platforms, refine and progress the on-boarding and transition of tenants onto the cloud services.

Role Summary
The Transition Lead is responsible for the planning and co-ordination of activities to ensure that tenants are effectively transitioned into the live service. At this level the Transition Lead , will be solely responsible for the co-ordination of the transition team, and required activities across Tenants, Customer Engagement Leads and Service Teams.

Experience/Responsibilities
* An active member of the Cloud Hosting team supporting all aspects of the programme
* Experience in leading transition of cloud based projects working with customers and key stakeholders
* Exposure to the transition of Data Centre Consolidation and application migration effort including discovery, planning and transition steps
* Awareness of Cloud Readiness and Application Modernisation programmes along with physical and virtual migration scenarios and technologies
* High level experience of VMware technologies
* High level experience of Linux operating system (high level)
* Windows OS, active directory and windows centric core services
* Exposure to highly secure / operational / mission critical environments
* Experience of working in the defence with exposure to MOD accreditation processes and standards
* Work effectively across stakeholders from Migration Units, Projects, and stakeholders
* Must be able to show initiative with minimal direction in a fast paced and changing environment
* Transition lead role managing the demand on the Service moving legacy tenants to a new cloud capability
* Experience in executing process development and change in an evolving service against a defined maturity model
* Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to exercise good judgement to find solutions - respecting process, but focusing on outcomes
