As the test Equipment Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

• Deliver world-class Test Solutions, Environment Simulators, and Emulators internally to the company as well as to their Customer's Armed Forces
• Contribute to the company's international Test Equipment Strategy
• Apply Test Equipment and Testability Strategies to all new programs, as well as through-life enhancement upgrades.
• Define clear requirements and acceptance criteria
• Develop and understand interface specifications for interfacing subsystems
• Work with multi-discipline engineering team (e.g. Systems, mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing etc…)
• Capture transversal engineering partner needs (e.g. Safety, Cyber, Human Factors, Customer Support Services, etc)

Your skillset may include:

• Capturing high-quality requirements for test equipment used in electronics and software development labs, as well as the manufacturing environment
• Capture the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders and structure
• Experience in DOORS or similar toolsets and experience in the design stage of the product lifecycle
