Test Engineer in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

The role

We are looking for a Test Engineer for one of our key clients based in Cheltenham. The clients are within the defence industry and you as a candidate will work some large complex projects which will include wide range of technology and skills.

The clients are looking for forward thinking and passionate members to join the team who are looking to develop as engineers and increase their skillset.

The Job

You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver high quality software testing and you'll also be hands-on in aiding and implementing test strategies with a strong understanding of the Modern Testing Principles.

The main Responsibilities

• You will work in multiple environments as part of a collaborative and multi-functional team.
• Identify gaps and opportunity to improve test capability to ensure coverage efficiency.
• Identify testing solutions to reduce software time-to-market.
• Assist with the identification of new tools and methodologies to be utilised for testing.

Experience required.

• You must have knowledge of the SDLC, Agile principles and ways of working, Dev-ops principles, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge and good understanding of automated test tools and frameworks
