Your job as a Technical Lead will be to support the team and to play a key role in taking critical technical decisions that shape and build the project. You'll love getting stuck in and will be hands-on in shaping our product roadmap and execution in a fast-moving marketplace business. With an exciting growth journey ahead and investment in tech, this is an exciting time to join!
You'll act as the technical expert on an exciting project advocating for best practices. In fact, you'll be our first technical team member of what will eventually be a pod of 3-8 engineers working on the Secure Contacts product. You'll focus on key strategic projects to provide clarity during planning and estimation. You'll ensure the resolution of bugs and tech debt and manage risk proactively whilst coaching the wider tech team. This project is working on the connection between the client and their telephony provider. This means you'll ultimately be responsible for the primary way customers get to contact us on our website and by phone. Day to day, you'll provide technical steer, oversee infrastructural changes and ensure regular, incremental feature and system improvements. We are all about simplicity, high standards, and a strong bias toward delivery.

You'll be up to date with modern software engineering practices relating to design, development, testing, and maintenance. You'll also be experienced in professional software development practices and tools, including GitHub and Jira.
You'll be an accomplished technical senior with experience working closely with Product Managers to deliver high-quality products.
