About you:
* Previous experience in the automotive industry
* Experience in steering rack design
The Role:
* Responsible for design and/ or engineering a functional area or multiple systems or processes.
* Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products.
* Assists upper levels of management and staff within a technical specialism
* Prepares full project documents
* Assists with a wide variety of tasks across departments and functions as required
* Engineering responsibility (Including design and release) of full vehicle chassis systems:
* Suspension Links
* Roll and Heave Control
* Uprights and Hubs
* Wheels and tires
* Foundation Braking.
* Pedals and Pedal BoxDesign for manufacture and assembly of responsible components and assemblies.
* Ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance
* Work Package Management
