Senior Supervisor (Electrical)

£41,288 + company van + additional hours

My client who is a leading M&E Contractor with a 44-year history or delivering projects across the south is looking to recruit a Senior Supervisor (Electrical) with the first project being a 70 bed care home in Worthing

Job Purpose:

Responsible for supervising construction sites and running construction projects efficiently and safely to ensure completed on time and in budget. Ensuring H&S rules are adhered to and quality checks and procedures followed by all site personnel

• Input into risk/opportunities register and implement actions to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.
• Review design drawings for buildability and co-ordination. Raise RFI where appropriate.
• Organisation of our site team and activities, including labour control, monitoring of start/finish times and productivity at workface
• Monitor and action health and safety assessment and close out actions accordingly.
• Implement and manage snagging / room handover procedures with the principal contractors (ITPs) also assisting the Project Managers
• Mark up record drawings and issue within sufficient timescales prior to practical completion to allow our design department to CAD and issue with manuals.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

SSSTS / SMSTS

PASMA, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness)

Experience of managing large construction projects

Proven ability to successfully lead large and multi-disciplined teams.

Good interpersonal skills - ability to interact with internal and external customers at all levels

Computer literate including word, excel, email, Project skills.

Positive attitude with flexible approach to work including time, travel and duties.
