Senior Procurement Officer - Wiltshire - Permanent - £Competitive

ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious defence company who are actively seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join them on a permanent basis.

The Senior Procurement Officer will work collaboratively to create integrated supply solutions. Working with programme, customer and suppliers, drawing upon experiences and knowledge to ensure success.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:
* Preparing RFI packs, supplier contracts and ensuring alignment with business and customer needs.
* Recommending suitable suppliers to ensure best value across price, quality and performance.
* Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value for money is achieved
* Manage or monitor contracts to ensure all parties meet their contractual obligations
* Ensure goods and services are suitably specified and supplier performance is satisfactory
* Providing the key interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers

Your skills:
* Proved experience in similar Procurement / Purchasing / Buying role
* Knowledge of strategic sourcing and advanced procurement techniques/tools
* Proven record of achieving cost saving targets/objectives.
* Capable of operating to tight schedules in a dynamic work environment.
* Proven Supplier Relationship Management skills.
* Capable of identifying and mitigating risks and effective issue resolution.
