The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a Nuclear Civil client, based out of Warrington.
Some of your duties will include:
- Develop, implement, and maintain project structures (WBS/OBS/RBS/CBS)
- Develop, baseline, and maintain project integrated schedule.
- Ensure tool-set alignment with financial and material demand tool set.
- Regularly update integrated schedule and provide metrics and schedule analysis.
- Resource/cost-loaded schedules for IBP and financial status of the project.
- Regular risk analysis updates and inclusion of key milestones
- Critical path analysis and progress updates
- Interpret results with Earned Value Analysis techniques.
- Lead Interactive Planning workshops and Rolling Wave meetings.
- Cost loading schedule and updating with forecast dates and EACs.
- Support commercial change process.
- Alignment of schedule to project change register.
- Attend and contribute to the business Scheduling Community of Practise.
What do you need to succeed?
- Extensive recent and relevant experience in a similar environment/business sector
- Knowledge of various contracting methodologies (e.g., FIDIC/NEC3/JCT etc...)
- Advanced knowledge of scheduling tool sets (e.g. Primavera/MSP etc...)
- Experience in quantitative risk analysis and forensic planning
- Full project life-cycle experience from the bid phase through to close out
- Schedule Management
- Resource Management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering/project/construction management or related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., APM/Acoste/RICS) (or equivalent)
