Senior OLE Design Engineer in Glasgow

SENIOR OLE DESIGN ENGINEER - GLASGOW - PERMANENT - UP TO £55,000 PER ANNUM

Advanced Resource Managers are currently working with an engineering team focused on creating a greener future, they are seeking a Senior OLE Design Engineer in Glasgow.

About You:
* You will have a BSc, BEng or Meng degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineer or equivalent experience.
* You will have significant and relevant experience in design and implementation for Overhead Line, Electrification Projects.
* You will have experience with OLE software design/modelling tools and CAD/Bentley design systems.
* You will have knowledge of UK overhead line installation and systems.
* You will have experience of operational requirements of railway construction works.
* Ideally, you will have chartered engineer status.

What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for supporting and deliver consistent, high quality designs and to safely implement OLE projects.

Some of your responsibilities will include; ensuring quality of designs to required standards, preparing details, distribution drawings, estimates and working drawings, Overhead Line design tasks, plan site surveys and maintain technical and safety standards in all aspects of design works.

This position is in Glasgow, but can also be based out of York, Birmingham, Derby, Coventry, Bristol, or Bath. It is a full-time position offering a hybrid working model, working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

The salary is £45,000 - £55,000 depending on individual experience and suitability, and a range of benefits including 26 days holiday + bank holidays, a performance based bonus, and an excellent pension.
