Senior Human Factors Engineer in Plymouth, Devon

- 36 Hours Per week
About the Role:
The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Senior Human Factors Engineer to join a Leading Nuclear Defence Client
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare Human Factors Substantiation Reports (HFSRs)
- Develop Fault Trees
- Calculate Initial Human Error Probability (I-HEP)
- Provide Human Factors input to Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
- Engage with safety and site teams to integrate Human Factors into the project.
- Contribute to the integration of Human Factors into the wider project for the Defuel project at Devonport.
What you need to succeed:
- Degree-level education in Engineering/Scientific discipline
- Background in nuclear/radiological safety is beneficial.
- Chartered Engineer registration (or working towards)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in Human Factors work.
- Familiarity with Human Factors related software.
- Eligibility for Ministry of Defence security clearance
- Willingness to work in a regulated environment.
