This role can directly influence customer satisfaction and requires specialist experience in Vehicle Engineering/Quality within the automotive industry. The right person will be responsible for supporting perfomance targets. Must be experienced in Chassis/Powertrain /Electrical / Body & Trim). You will also be responsible for After-marktet, customer satisfaction analysis and must liased with key stakeholders to ensure improvement priorities for Chassis/Powertrain /Electrical / Body & Trim.
Essential
* A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a related Engineering position.
* Communication skills across all business levels.
* Basic budget tracking and control.
* Customer relations experience preferable.
* Significant experience of timely, accurate diagnosis & logical problem-solving methodologies.
* Experience of working to challenging targets and tight deadlines under pressure.
* Customer service-orientated ethos and a proven track record of excellent customer satisfaction.
* Computer literate with a demonstrable level of experience of data input and retrieval from computer software and systems including Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Access / SAP systems.
* Knowledge of the Automotive industry, Products and Dealer practices.
* Competent usage of vehicle diagnostic equipment including data interpretation.
Education
* Engineer with or working towards accreditation.
* Educated to HND or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or significant equivalent experience.
