Are you an experienced Senior EMC Test Engineer with a background testing in the industrial and automotive space? Are you passionate about innovation, embrace change and love new and exciting challenges?

Our client is a global leader in applied safety science, transforming safety, security and sustainability challenges into opportunities for customers in more than 110 countries. They are looking for a Senior EMC Test Engineer to support the build of a new laboratory in Neu-Isenburg.

In this role you will be getting your hands on new technology before it hits the shelves, digging deep and figuring out exactly how it works. Lifting the lid and testing the boundaries on a huge range of products, from smart watches to electric vehicles loaded with the latest software.

The successful candidate will influence emerging technology and forge a successful career at the centre of safety science.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and planning of the project workflow: creating test plans, defining test conditions, and commissioning the test units, documenting the project status, and communicating results to customers (internal/external).
  • Ensuring adherence to agreed deadlines as well as full management of project-related activities.
  • Conducting product tests in close cooperation with our worldwide customers.
  • Preparing documentation for approval activities.
  • Independently conducting tests.
  • Recording and evaluating test results.
  • Creating final reports - primarily in English.
  • Verification and regular inspection of measuring and testing equipment to ensure compliance with required external and internal quality standards.
  • Participation in the integration and development of new measurement and testing techniques as well as the continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in engineering or vocational training (e.g., in the field of radio and television technology / information technology / communications engineering).
  • Knowledge in the areas of EMC, radio and/or measurement technology.
  • Professional experience with EMC or radio testing, including radar, WLAN, Bluetooth, and RFID, is desirable, as well as experience in conducting tests according to EN, ETSI (Europe) and FCC/IC (North America) standards.
  • Good MS Office skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Commitment, as well as the ability to work independently and result-oriented in an international, high-growth environment.
  • Very good English skills (spoken and written), basic German skills; knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage.
