Senior Electrical Engineer in Bristol

Senior Electrical Engineer - Temporary | Bristol | £45 per hour

We're looking for an experienced Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join a leading consultancy in Bristol on a temporary basis. You'll support projects across the Midlands, Southwest, and Wales, delivering across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, transport, and defence.

What you'll do:

• Design and specify electrical building services (power, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security).
• Produce calculations, drawings, and reports using Amtech, Dialux/Relux, NBS, and Revit.
• Conduct site inspections and manage project delivery within time and budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.

What we're looking for:

• Degree-qualified Electrical/Building Services Engineer (Chartered preferred).
• Strong design and software capability.
• Consultancy or contractor design experience.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and decarbonisation methods.
