About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced marine electrical systems. In this role, you will:

Design and execute large-scale electrical installations for marine applications.
Collaborate with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and develop tailored system solutions.
Work on ATEX-rated installations, ensuring safety and compliance in hazardous environments.
Utilize the EPlan professional drawing package for detailed and precise design work.
Integrate electrical systems within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to innovative marine technology solutions.
Provide expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through to final implementation.
What You'll Need:

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
Extensive experience in marine or industrial control electrical installations, including electrical installation and panel design.
A deep understanding of the complexities and challenges within the marine sector.
Experience with ATEX/IEC Ex-rated installations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using EPlan for electrical design (training available if required).
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse teams.
