Role Details:

  • Warrington or Sellafield
  • Hybrid, 2/3 days a week on site
  • 12-Month Contract
  • Negotiable rate of pay Inside IR35
  • 36 Hours Per week

About the Role:

The Energy Division at ARM is currently Senior EC&I Engineer to join a Nuclear Civil company.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Promote effective co-operation across Engineering and other functional teams.
  • Assist in customer management, liaison, and relationship development to aid business development and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and apply procedures, codes, and standards to engineering activities.
  • Contribute to Project Safety Assessment process.
  • Communicate and manage task and project risks effectively.
  • Produce, review, and approve calculations, drawings, design documentation, and technical reports as assigned.
  • Maintain engineering configuration and design integrity throughout the lifecycle.

What You Need to Succeed

Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Engineering degree in relevant discipline with significant experience
  • Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
  • Experience in collaborative work within multi-discipline teams on various project types.
  • Demonstrable experience in handling tasks of varying complexities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different disciplines.

Desirable:

  • Membership in a relevant institute or capable of registration with the Engineering Council
  • Experience in managing engineering scope from concept design to full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction
  • Broad experience in commercial or defence projects
