Senior CS&A Technician in Bristol

The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Civil Structural Technician to join our Nuclear client, to be based out of Bristol or Warrington

Job Overview:

Our client is trusted and respected within the nuclear industry, they are seeking an individual to join their team and participate in all aspects of a project's life cycle. This is a unique opportunity to take part in projects from the initial scheme and concept design phase, all the way through to decommissioning. We offer unparalleled experience and specialised knowledge across multiple areas of the nuclear life cycle, including design and build, decommissioning, waste management, and remediation.

Some of your duties will include:

• Supporting the preparation of the designs of structures and infrastructure of varying complexity, including production of relevant models and drawings using Autodesk products, particularly Revit and AutoCAD, throughout the various stages of the design process.

• Understand and support the process for developing and implementing BIM Level 2 compliant systems and processes

• Delivering Nuclear design work, inspections, and construction site support on projects for a range of public and private sector clients within the UK and overseas. Work encompasses the full lifecycle of a project.

What do you need to succeed?

• Significant experience in the design and detailing of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.

• HNC qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering or an appropriate Engineering profession.
