A global leader in engineering and construction for the energy and infrastructure sectors is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join a landmark project in the UK. This organisation operates across more than 50 countries, employing tens of thousands of professionals, and is committed to supporting the energy transition through innovation, sustainability, and safe delivery of complex projects.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for organising, coordinating, and controlling electrical works on a major decommissioning and carbon capture project. You will manage safety, quality, and performance across all high-voltage activities while leading supervisors and subcontractors to deliver critical project milestones.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate 2-3 electrical supervisors and associated personnel.

Ensure availability of drawings and materials to enable efficient execution.

Supervise and liaise with contractors, vendors, clients, and stakeholders.

Monitor work progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

Oversee production performance, efficiency, and productivity.

Support resolution of technical issues during execution.

Maintain accurate work quantities, man-hours, and cost tracking.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in high-voltage environments.
What We're Looking For
-
15-20 years' experience in high-voltage electrical activities on construction sites or similar environments.

Strong technical expertise in HV systems, electrical vendors, and suppliers.

Relevant certifications including SAP up to 11KVA and competency card.
