Senior Accounting Manager in Southwark, London

Senior Accounting Manager - Southwark (Hybrid) - Contract (9 months) - £250-£500 per day (Inside IR35)

ARM are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join their Transport client in London on a 9 month interim, hybrid basis.

This role is responsible for leading the provision of a complete back-office finance support function to the Treasury team.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the provision of a robust and accurate reporting and control function for the Group Treasury department.
* Ensures compliance with requirements, highlighting any significant issues, and identifying and implementing improvements to controls and processes.
* Responsible for leading the provision of a complete back-office finance support function to the Treasury team.
* Lead and assist with the financial reporting functions.

Requirements:
* Must be a qualified accountant.
* Must have specific treasury accounting experience.
* AMCT qualification (diploma in treasury management) desirable.
* Expert on IFRS 9 Financial Instruments and related standards.
* Understanding of hedge accounting.
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to work independently and as a team
