Are you an experienced Sales Executive with a background working in the EMC space? Are you highly client focussed and happy to spend up to 75% of your time travelling?

Our client is a global leader in applied safety science, transforming safety, security and sustainability challenges into opportunities for customers in more than 110 countries. They help customers innovate, launch new products and services, navigate global markets and complex supply chains, and grow sustainably and responsibly into the future.

They are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to be responsible for leading sales activities for their new Lab in Neu-Isenburg (Germany) that is set up for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) / Wireless / Automotive certification!

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for business development and sales strategy as well as maintaining relationships with EMC / Automotive key accounts.
  • Connects with customers face-to-face and remotely (video, phone, email) to discuss customers' needs, provide best solutions and sell services.
  • Drives sales process from beginning to end, leveraging support from Sales Support Specialists and Inside Sales Executives when/if necessary.
  • Follows up with customers to ensure renewal of services where applicable and spots opportunities to sell specialty product / services.
  • Meets with new logo prospects from inbound and outbound channels to qualify their needs, understand decision makers, and land new customers.
  • Supports discovery, opportunity identification, proposals, and closing for sales of core products and services.
  • Leverages technical support (engineers) when customer has a qualified need.
  • Brings in additional resources when advantageous to support sales process, and delegates leadership of the sale to Technical Inside Sales Executives for highly technical or specialized products / services.
  • Transitions implementation to success / fulfilment teams after sales have been closed to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated working experience in direct or field sales with a strong account management and development capability.
  • Proven ability to manage and sell into large, diverse accounts, both individually and with the assistance of supporting personnel.
  • Experience in managing sales activities for EMC, Wireless or Automotive industry.
  • Fluent German and advanced English language.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Experience in selling Testing, Inspection & Certification services would be nice to have.
  • Open-minded, commercial person who enjoys traveling and is eager to learn.
  • Business acumen, flexibility and ability to bring new ideas and solutions.
  • Available to travel to clients (50%-75% of the time).
