Safety Sector Lead – Land Domain in Bath, Somerset

ARM is currently working with a market-leading engineering consultancy who are looking for a Safety Sector Lead - Land Domain to join their team.

Working with their key Clients within the Defence industry, this is a Hybrid opportunity with occasional travel to offices which are based across the UK as well as customer sites.

As a Safety Sector Lead, you will be responsible for:

* You will be responsible for knowledge management of land safety regulations and safety standards, maintenance of the technical capability and technical assurance of project and bid outputs.
* The role will include direct work on projects, support to and leading bidding activity and is suited to someone with an Army background or similar domain experience.

What you'll need to do the role:

* You will have k knowledge and experience in safety assessment and analysis techniques and applications across a variety of systems and platforms.
* You will have the ability to apply processes and tools and develop safety evidence for compliance against defence land regulations and relevant standards, with an appreciation of complex defence land systems and platforms.
* You will have relevant academic qualifications and/or professional accreditations in an engineering and/or safety discipline and will show a good understanding of relevant regulations and standards such as DSA 02: Defence Land Safety Regulator, ASEMS POSMS, Def Stan 00-056 and Def Stan 00-055, with experience of safety assessment and/or independent safety audit.

Due to the nature of the sector, this role requires candidates to be able to gain a full UK SC Clearance.
