ARM are currently recruiting for a Risk Manager to work on a permanent basis with a leading client in the Renewable Energy sector.

What you'll be doing

  • The verification of the relevant risk profile and Peer to Peer review meeting (if required), ensuring that identified risks are assessed and managed in compliance with the Company risk management methodology and consistent with other project's bid parameters.
  • Supporting the project Risk Management activities under the responsibility of the Project Managers/Project Control Managers/Risk Managers through a quarterly review (Check & Balance review) with the aim of ensuring that identified risks are assessed and managed in compliance with company risk management methodology and consistent with other project monitoring parameters.
  • Ensure proper training and induction to the Project Control Managers/Project Risk Managers who support the Project Manager/Proposal Manager in the application, coordination and expediting of the risk management activities and mitigation actions and project team as well;
  • Support Corporate Project Risk Management and Project Control Functions for the preparation and issue the Corporate Quarterly Status and Monitoring Reports and, where required, the Risk Status Reports for the Bid Evaluation Committee;
  • Support the project tendering risk analysis phase by facilitating and participating in meetings with Proposal Manager and other Company Peers in order to ensure a suitable contingency level:
  • Spread awareness of Risk and Opportunity and Knowledge Management in order to promote cultural growth on risk management, including emphasis on Golden Rules and Silver Guidelines compliance;
  • Ensure that the project risk management methodology and processes support company Policy and objectives, gathering and analyzing needs for updates of the existing company Standards, Procedures, and Guidelines.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Experience working within the Renewable Energy sector
  • Experience working in a management position
  • Degree or equivalent within a relevant subject
