Resident Electrical Engineer in Plymouth, Devon

Role Details:

• Negotiable Rate of Pay Inside IR35
• Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth - Onsite 5 days per week
• Current SC Clearance is Mandatory

ARM's Energy Division is seeking an Experienced Resident Electrical Engineers Working Remotely for our Nuclear Civil client located in the Devonport Dockyard/Plymouth area.

Some of your duties will include:

• Manage and support the delivery of site Quality in the submarine refit complex.
• Provide advice and support to the construction team, with a primary focus on Electrical activity.
• Witness the installation and commissioning process through construction works.
• Report to the Lead Construction Manager on day-to-day planning matters
• Communicate with contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve site issues and technical queries.
• Ensure adherence to contract timescales, Scope of works, and Change requests.
• Conduct inspections and record results to ensure adherence to scope and integrated test plans.

Do you need to succeed?

• You should be degree qualified and or Charted in a relevant discipline.
• You must have safely executed relevant Construction works in the past and understand the nuclear industry and the impact of works against an extant safety case.
• You shall have awareness of CDM, construction practices, and health and safety legislation.
• You should have experience delivering within the nuclear-licensed site boundary.
• You should be able to demonstrate effective stakeholder management and understands the importance of integrated team delivery. Experience in delivering NEC contracts.
• SC Clearance is Mandatory
