The role…
As a Team Leader you'll be expected to lead and manage a team to work efficiently to win business and/or service it, whilst ensuring that the teams' Key Performance Indicators are agreed and communicated. Direct and support the team to deliver (and ideally exceed) KPI targets and financial revenue objectives.
Your duties…
You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of expanding the current client base within and across the company, whilst assisting the Business Development department in strategic development of new clients. You'll be expected to provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to equip the team with the tools required to do their job in order to deliver a professional service to the internal and external clients. Ensuring that quality and attention to detail standards are set and achieved by the team.
In addition to this, you'll manage employee relation concerns with grievance, disciplinary, attendance and performance activity. The key result areas you will be focusing on is management, learning and development, industry knowledge, recruitment specific, sales techniques; including business development, winning business, client relationship management and focused K.P.I activity.
To be successful you'll…
- Educated to graduate level is ideal but not essential
- Experience of managing a team under KPI's
- Conducting appraisals and catch up meetings
- Managing the disciplinary and grievance process, as and when required
- Coaching and mentoring of staff
- Experience in working to deadlines
- Customer service experience
- Prioritisation
- Relationship building and negotiation skills
- Awareness of commercial acumen
- Competent in the usage of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and Colleague
You're a shoe in if you have these skills (but don't worry if you don't!):
- Experience of relevant market sector
