Quantity Surveyor in Birmingham, West Midlands

QUANTITY SURVEYOR - BIRMINGHAM - PERMANENT - UP TO £55,000 PER ANNUM

Advanced Resource Managers are looking for a Quantity Surveyor for a globally leading company for public transport infrastructure, specialised in the mass transit and rail market. This is a permanent position based in Birmingham with a hybrid working model in place.

About You:
* You will have experience in civil engineering, building, M&E rail or general construction or infrastructure.
* You will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
* You will have significant experience in all aspects of post-contract commercial management on major infrastructure related projects.
* You will have broad experience in the commercial management of projects and implementing effective cost control and change processes.
* You will have specific knowledge of railway and construction industry contracts, including NEC forms.

What you will be doing:
You will be supporting the project management team in the effective management of time, cost and quality to plan, providing functional and productive commercial support to the project management team ensuring timely reporting and contract administration is maintained.

You will also be analysing the cost performance data and provide relevant input for monthly reports. You will be responsible for implementing commercial strategies.

This role is based in Birmingham and has a hybrid working model in place. This will be working 5 days a week during normal office hours.

The salary range for this position is between £35,000 to £55,000 and will be based on suitability and experience.
