Purchasing Programme Manager in Guildford, Surrey

PermanentAbout The Role
The role covers the management of the purchasing programme management team to deliver best practice results for programme management. It will entail managing cross functional teams from purchasing, engineering, quality, finance and PMO to deliver programme deliverables.
- Co-ordinate sourcing activities to ensure they are completed inline with programme timings and gateways.
Maintain Sourcing trackers - Co-ordinate and chair nomination related meetings (procurement council, pre nomination & supplier choice)
Maintain and communicate purchasing programme related KPI's - Co-ordinate purchase order activities for all builds
- Support programme launch team activities
- Liaise between programme management (PMO) and purchasing - provide updates and request information
- Support purchasing activities with programme timings, volumes and programme related information
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with CIPS qualification
- Extensive Procurement & Programme management experience within a manufacturing environment
- Broad spectrum of project management skills, with general purchasing knowledge and experience. Experience with creating sourcing trackers, KPI's and timing plans
- Previous procurement management experience and team management experience
- Communicative, Resoursful,Outgoing. Responsive. Flexible. Ambitious. Persuasive. Self-directing. Passion for delivering objectives
