As the Proving Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be working within the Electronic Engineering domain of the company where you will get the opportunity to develop and broaden your skills within a multiple-disciplined team that supports various projects.
As the Proving Engineer, you role will be to plan, prepare, conduct, and report on Equipment Level Proving activities. To do this, you will be involved in:
- A team that is dedicated to improving the way equipment works, and how it interacts with other functions and directorates with a strong interest in the development of its people.
- You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills via a combination of mentoring, formal training, and on-the-job training.
- You will have the opportunity to travel to other UK locations to support trials.
- You will have the opportunity to engage with stakeholders across the business, build a network, and learn about other areas of the business.
Your skillset:
- Ideally an Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in writing trials/technical documentation.
- An appreciation of electronic technologies
- Appreciation/Experience of Systems Proving Process and associated methodologies.
- The ability to communicate with a wide range of internal customers, sub-contractors / partners/ suppliers at both engineering and management levels.
