Property Counsel
Location: Birmingham, Snow Hill
Salary: £46,406 - £74,995

A great opportunity for an experienced Property Solicitor to support a major national infrastructure programme. You'll provide specialist legal advice across a wide range of property matters, with a particular focus on utilities, statutory undertakers, and the delivery of land and property requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, easements, leases, licences, and landlord & tenant matters.
• Support negotiations and agreements with utilities, telecoms and other statutory undertakers.
• Manage your own caseload of complex property and compulsory purchase matters.
• Draft and update legal templates and support internal governance processes.
• Oversee external legal support, ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to senior stakeholders across the organisation.

About You

• Qualified solicitor with post-qualification experience in property law.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Background working with government bodies, utilities or transport organisations.
• Experience handling varied property transactions and supporting infrastructure or development projects.
