Procurement Manager - Permanent - Remote - £50,000 - £60,000

ARM is currently looking for a Procurement Manager to work on the Infrastructure and Transportation programmes with a well-known infrastructure client, who are currently involved with large scale construction in the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business with a strong reputation for delivering high quality services within complex environments. The Procurement Manager will be working with clients across the public and private sector to develop/deliver solutions to complex and dynamic problems.

Responsibilities

* To devise and implement commercial policy and solutions to a wide range of clients and stakeholders.
* Working within the requirements of Public Sector regulations
* Running and managing dynamic purchasing systems/ auctions - public and/ or private sector.
* Procurement delivery - from setting strategy to tendering, and on to implementation/commissioning.
* Contract Negotiation
* Commercial Management.
* Contract/ Project Management.
* Key Account Management (KAM).
* Risk and Opportunity Management.
* Project financing - debt or equity.

Requirements

* Degree qualified - within a construction or business-related discipline.
* MRICS, MCIPS or MCIOB or working towards one of these qualifications (or similar).
* Suitable experience on major programmes and complex projects - these could be within construction, engineering, manufacturing, oil and gas etc.
* Experience of working in a client focused environment - working closely with clients, collaboratively with other consultants and contractors.
* Ability to manage personal workload.
* Familiarity with a range of different complex delivery models - ECI and Alliancing in particular.
