ContractARM are recruiting for a Principal Systems Engineer with experience of Requirements and DOORS for an initial 6-month contract with a key defence client in Bedfordshire.

IR35 Determination: Inside
As a Principal Systems Engineer with Requirements and DOORS experience based in Luton, you will be responsible for;
* Working alongside internal stakeholders to understand user needs and requirements with which to define and influence system requirements and designs, ensuring traceability for design compliance and acceptance.
* Develop and run test strategies to demonstrate design and implementation compliance, ensuring end-to-end traceability to achieve certification.
* Support system integration, verification, and validation activities to test and analyse performance and effectiveness within synthetic and live environments.
* Develop and deliver engineering specifications, reports and presentations.
You should, as a Principal Systems Engineer, have experience of the following:
* A strong understanding of systems engineering principles and highly experienced in whole lifecycle product development and delivery.
* Ability to define and influence requirements definition and design decisions, both within the internal project team and customer environments.
* Ability to define test and acceptance criteria and assess system design compliance against user and system requirements.
* Ability to run testing and capture evidence.
* High proficiency in requirements management using DOORS.
* Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making within projects involving design complexity and uncertainty.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation
* Undergraduate Engineering degree or related scientific discipline
*Due to the nature of the role, you will need to hold current and valid MOD SC Clearance.
